CORVALLIS - The state title dream continues for North Bend. The 12th-ranked Lady Bulldogs toed the line and hit 19 free throws, including 15 from Kellie Holmstedt, and came away with a hard-fought 41-37 decision Thursday over No. 4 Scappoose in the Class 4A state quarterfinals.

Oregon OSHA proposes fining Mt. Bachelor over worker injuries 
BEND, Ore. The Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division has proposed more than $15,000 in fines against Mt. Bachelor Inc., saying safety violations contributed to a chairlift-maintenance accident that injured four workers.
