Judge throws out child porn charge against Steven Powell

Steven Powell is accused of taking pictures/video of children/women without their knowledge. The judge decided that is voyeurism, but not child pornography.

Pet lynx attacks woman inside Bellevue home

A woman suffered severe injuries to her arm after her boyfriend’s pet lynx got loose and attacked her in their Bellevue home Friday.

Shoreline mother in Amber Alert on the run

Detectives worked into the night trying to find Doreen Starrish, accused of stabbing the father of their two daughters and taking the girls out of their Shoreline home. Both children were found safe at their grandmother’s.

From Japan to Seattle, deep-bore tunnel project takes shape

The tall blue construction machines digging holes on the south end of the Alaskan Way Viaduct project are creating a launching pit for the tunnel-boring machine that will begin its descent below Seattle next year.

Peter Keller found dead in bunker, King Co. sheriff says

Investigators say Peter Keller, the man wanted for the murders of his wife and daughter, was found inside a deep underground bunker, dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
